‘Goodfellas’ movie, dinner scheduled at Corleone’s Ristorante

PARMA, Ohio – Corleone's Ristorante has scheduled a "Goodfellas" dinner and movie screening.

The three-course dinner event, which features wines from Italian winery Zonin1821, is 6 p.m. Monday, June 26.

Reception Wine: Renaissance Rosé.

Starter: Handmade arancini, fried rice balls. Wine: Ca’Bolani Pinot Grigio.

Main: Osso Buco with parmesan mashed potatoes and gremolata. Wine: Castello di Albola Chianti.

Dessert: Chocolate-chip cannoli with pistachio crust.

The classic 1990 movie "Goodfellas" will be screened throughout the restaurant. For those who haven't seen it, it's based on the true story of Henry Hill, who turned informant and went into witness protection. The late Ray Liotta plays Hill, and the supporting cast is brilliant: Robert De Niro, Joe Pesci and Lorraine Bracco all turn in stellar performances about Hill's rising star and spiraling life. Martin Scorsese directed the movie.
